Chance Rice Races School Bus During Off Weekend

Modified and Legends Pro driver Chance Rice headed to Spartan Speedway (MI) on Friday, September 7th, to race a school bus during his off weekend. Despite being his first time driving a bus on the figure-8, Rice almost went to victory lane before being taken out on the last lap, where he almost went over.

About Chance Rice

Growing up in the Midwest, Michigan racer Chance Rice has earned his keep on the race track. Starting his career from behind the wheel at age seven, he won over 300 races in Karting.

Moving up to the Legends Car scene, Rice continued his winning ways. With over 30 wins and multiple championships, Rice is a force on the race track every time he shows up to race. Most recently, Rice was the 2010 Legends Nationals Pro division champion, the 2011 Michigan Legends Pro / Overall champion, and won the 2011 Midwest Racing Scene People's Choice Award Winner for Favorite Michigan Legends Driver.

Going into the 2012 season, Rice has 19 championships to his credit, from Karts to Legends. The young racer will spend time behind the wheel of a Legends Car as well as a Modified.
